Over the years, Flexiwellness has been blessed to hold space for countless souls in some of the world’s most inspiring destinations. From the mystical landscapes of Glastonbury in the UK to the sun-kissed shores of Spain, the vibrant energy of Thailand, the soulful lands of Morocco, the wild beauty of the Canary Islands, the gentle rhythms of Greece, and the grounding embrace of my home country Bulgaria — each retreat has been a unique journey of connection, healing, and transformation.
These retreats have become more than just time away — they are sacred gatherings where community, nature, and inner exploration meet. Every location carries its own magic, shaping the experiences we share: sunrise meditations overlooking the ocean, yoga beneath ancient skies, circles of trust and laughter, and moments of stillness that stay with us long after we return home.

There are places in the world that feel alive with myth and mystery — Madara, in the heart of Bulgaria, is one of them. Here, cliffs rise like ancient guardians, and the famous Madara Rider, carved into stone over a thousand years ago, watches silently as the sun greets the earth each morning.

It was in this magical region that our Yoga & Hiking Retreat unfolded. Each day began with the first rays of light — sometimes even a sunrise yoga practice at 5am near the sacred Madara Rider, where legend says if you walk at sunrise, you will be charged with energy and protection. Moving through asana, pranayama, and meditation with the birds awakening around us, the group felt deeply connected to both earth and sky.
