Whilst your Personal Story is evolving in each session, Michael is always holding a structured space that ensures your transformation is anchored and purposeful. This is achieved by focusing on how you are experiencing life, not just what is being experienced. Humans often get caught up in the details of their experiences—specific events, people, or situations. However, lasting transformation comes from addressing the structure of your subjective experience—how you interpret and process these details—rather than focusing on the content itself.
The Science of Subjective Experience: How You Shape Your Reality
From a neurological perspective, the brain is constantly bombarded by millions of sensory inputs—sounds, sights, smells, tastes, and tactile sensations. However, our brains are only capable of processing a limited amount of this information at any given moment. Research shows that we can only consciously attend to about 120 bits of information per second, despite being exposed to an estimated 11 million bits per second of sensory data¹. This massive reduction in sensory input is a result of neurological deletion—where irrelevant or redundant information is filtered out before it reaches our conscious awareness.
For example, humans are only able to perceive a small slice of the light spectrum—what we call visible light—whilst infrared, ultraviolet, and other electromagnetic waves remain outside of our sensory range². Similarly, we can only hear sounds within a limited frequency range of approximately 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz³, meaning sounds that fall outside this range (like a dog whistle) are deleted from our perception.
Beyond sensory limitations, the brain also applies cognitive shortcuts through distortion and generalisation. Distortion allows us to reshape reality based on our emotional states, beliefs, and past experiences. Whilst this can help us interpret events meaningfully, it can also warp our understanding of situations and lead to misinterpretations. For example, a study on cognitive bias shows how emotions like anxiety can cause us to distort neutral social cues into negative ones, impacting our relationships⁴.
Generalisation simplifies decision-making by applying past experiences to new situations, but this can also lead to rigid thinking or limiting beliefs. For example, in one psychological experiment, individuals who experienced failure in a specific context often generalised that experience to assume they would fail in unrelated areas of their lives, a phenomenon known as learned helplessness⁵.

However, changes made at the lower levels rarely affect the higher ones. Ad-Hoc Sessions (£200 per session): Book individual sessions as needed, paying upon booking, for maximum flexibility and immediate support.
3-Month Retainer (£2,100): Commit to focused growth with a weekly session preserved for you for 12 weeks. All sessions must be used within the 3-month period.
12-Month Retainer (£7,200): Deepen your transformation with consistent support throughout the year. A weekly session is preserved for you each week; up to a maximum of 48 weeks. All sessions must be used within the 12-month period.
